That’s why calls are now free from Australia to Bahrain, Iran, Israel, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.

From 12:01am AEDT tonight (Friday, 13 March), we’ll be providing free calls to Bahrain, Iran, Israel, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates to help you get in touch with those you care about.

This applies for both pre-paid (must have an active recharge) and post-paid mobiles as well as home phones.

We are making voice calls TOLL FREE from Australia to +973 (Bahrain), +98 (Iran), +972 (Israel), +965 (Kuwait), +961 (Lebanon), +968 (Oman), +974 (Qatar), +966 (Saudi Arabia), +971 (United Arab Emirates)

What do I need to do to make my calls free of charge?

Nothing!

All calls that you make from your mobile number to Bahrain, Iran, Israel, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates are toll free starting the 13th of March 2026.

All the calls are toll free; they will not appear on your usage summary.

How do I make an international call?

Make sure international calling is enabled on your service and you will be able to make international calls.

Is this only for Postpaid services?

No!

Free calls are for all TeleChoice Services – SIM only, Pre-paid, Long- Expiry & Phone on plans.

Will my call get through?

Keep in mind that calls to these regions may not always go through, due to potential infrastructure damage in the region.
